PRIMAVERA Academy promotes pioneering training in Software Product Management
Intensive training course to be held for the first time in Portugal provides access to ISPMA international certification.
PRIMAVERA BSS is to promote a pioneering training course in Portugal through its training unit, PRIMAVERA Academy. The course in Software Product Management will be spearheaded by one of the software industry's top names worldwide, the highly-regarded German specialist, Hans-Bernd Kittlaus. The intensive training course will be taking place at PRIMAVERA's head office in Braga from the 15th to the 17th of June. It will give participants a unique opportunity in Portugal to obtain international certification from the International Software Product Management Association (ISPMA), awarded by the International Software Quality Institute.
Geared essentially towards product managers, the training course is open only to applicants with at least three years' experience in the software industry. Participants will have the chance to develop specific product management skills such as the design of frameworks and roadmapping, applicable legal and tax frameworks, the definition of launch plans, product life cycle management, portfolio management, market analysis and marketing strategy, services and support.
"Overspecialisation often leads to difficulties in market perception and the way in which the products developed specifically address those needs. Our aim with this training course is to fill that gap, providing software product managers with a comprehensive range of skills that will allow them to optimise their professional performance and make their organisations more competitive," explains Armindo Lobo, Head Manager of PRIMAVERA Academy, the PRIMAVERA BSS training unit responsible for the course.
