Felicidade Ferreira has just been appointed to take charge of coordinating the company's operations in various markets
PRIMAVERA BSS introduces Felicidade Ferreira as new Country Manager for Portugal, São Tomé e Príncipe, Cape Verde and Guinea Bissau
A member of the management team at PRIMAVERA BSS for 17 years, Felicidade Ferreira joined the company as Business Developer for the north of Portugal. Since then her noteworthy career path has taken her to top-level positions in the Marketing Department and, in recent years, the Operations Department at PRIMAVERA Portugal.
A graduate in economics from the University of Porto's Faculty of Economics, the new Country Manager says that she is "excited about taking up the new challenge offered to me. I will do my best to continue the good work done by my predecessor, José Carlos Azevedo. It is a privilege to be at the helm of PRIMAVERA's operation in the company's biggest market – Portugal. Despite our strong presence in Portugal, there is considerable growth potential due to the diversity of the PRIMAVERA range on the Portuguese market".
Her vast experience in the business software sector and her comprehensive in-depth knowledge of the Portuguese market were decisive factors in Felicidade Ferreira's appointment. Ahead of her lies the challenge of planning and successfully putting into practice the company's business and expansion strategy in the aforementioned markets. "The aim is to speed up and leverage the growth of our operations in these countries, offering our customers and partners quality solutions that address the specific needs and characteristics of each individual market", she concludes.
Before joining PRIMAVERA BSS, Felicidade Ferreira spent three years at SAGE, where she was project manager in charge of adapting and marketing the SIEBEL product range. She then worked as account manager in charge of large accounts in the Lisbon area. Prior to this, from 1993 to 1995, she worked as credit analyst at Luso Atlântica, a company belonging to the Banco Português do Atlântico, dealing in long-term rentals.
